We are very proud to announce that Urban Krav Maga -Wisconsin and the students and instructors of Black Belt America of Madison had a very successful food drive. Over the course of six weeks, we provided one thousand three hundred and twenty five meals for the Lussier Food Pantry! Great Job everyone and thank you for helping out needy families in our community.

The UKM America Annual Self Defense Symposium

How to Defend Against

~The Ten Most Common Street Attacks~ with UKM Founder/Chief Instructor Stewart McGill and John Lacy Senior UKM Instructor In the United States. Mr. McGill and Mr. Lacy will host a seminar about Urban Krav Maga, a reality based self defense system.

Attendees will learn how to defend against the Ten Most Common Street Attacks in our society to date. Including the psychology of an attack (OODA Loop), empty hand combatives (reactive and pre-emptive), ground defense, weapons defense.

Black Belt America’s “Kicks for Kid’s” is a fundraiser for American Family Children’s Hospital happened on Sat Aug. 28^th. UKM Wisconsin students & Public Guardian Self Defense donated $400 and purchased a board for Mr. Wideman to break. Take a look… \”UKM Board Break\”

Successful Pressure Test

Congratulations to Maya and Mike on their successful Level I Test. They spent three hours (including test) with their classmates and instructor going over the curriculum. They both showed great poise and skill throughout the test. During the workshop, they had to do a large amount of physical training. So when the test was upon them, they were far from having fresh bodies to get them past the test. They had to rely on their training and technique and the will to never give up. I’m very proud of all that attended and gave maximum effort!

British Combat Association requests Urban Krav Maga Masterclass

“Urban Krav Maga has been asked by the internationally renown British Combat Association (BCA) to provide a Materclass on 13 September 2009. This is the first time any Krav Maga organization has been asked to provide such a seminar in the UK, and reflects the respect within the Self defense and Reality Based training community for Urban Krav Maga.”

It is indeed an exciting time for us. Join us as we continue to train in Urban Krav Maga. A reality based training that applies to the streets in which we live today. Our aim is a simple one, “So that we all may walk in peace!
