Last Tue. we went over a Level 3 alternative Gun take away from the front. I had some pretty good “Ah ha” moments. The key component of this is to grab your opponents arm above the wrist and pull their arm in front of you. A the same time move your butt back so you are as far up their arm as possible. This gives you good leverage on their arm. Holding their arm is so much more important then holding the gun which will be taken once the arm is broken. This technique can be used with the Level 2 Knife take away as well.
